Advancing highly visible initiatives since 1997, Bannecker Public Affairs is ready to help your company or organization tackle important projects in the Pacific Northwest.
We have deep experience helping companies and organizations communicate their unique story. Our corporate communications practice begins with an examination and deep understanding of a company’s mission, unique product offerings, and the people it serves. From there, we work with internal teams to hone authentic messages and build compelling stories that speak to the right audiences.

We work with an array of companies and organizations to advance local, regional, and statewide policies that foster smart planning and encourage growth in urban areas. We help our clients advocate for density and more housing options to support future economic and population growth of the Pacific Northwest.
With deep subject-matter experience on land use policy in the region, we take a long view on the issue of growth and its importance to maintaining vital communities. We are committed to helping businesses build partnerships with regional governments and communities to create lasting solutions.
Environmental stewardship is a regional priority. We work with many companies looking to take on pro-active sustainability projects and partnerships. For a large environmental services provider, we helped design effective community and public relations strategies to boost enthusiasm and engagement on recycling, food composting, and waste reduction strategies. Working alongside their in-house team, we supported vibrant well-attended community events. On strategic issues, we also designed PR outreach campaigns, developed supporting original content, and cultivated earned local news media stories. Working with their in-house team, we built out a comprehensive campaign. Our client's key messages resonated and produced increased brand awareness in the community and among local government leaders.
The northwest has a vibrant life sciences ecosystem which includes a vibrant start-up culture as well as large biopharma and medical device companies with commercial products and global customers. Our team has helped an array of companies tackle diverse communication challenges. For ambitious entrepreneurs, we have raised seed capital, and build critical relationships with Seattle angel investors and family offices. We have strengthened in-house fundraising efforts by developing smart public relations campaigns that deliver high value earned news coverage for early-stage drug development programs. For companies with employee bases in multiple countries, we have bridged the distance with engaging internal employee communications programs. We develop unique solutions tailored to a company’s needs.
Many of our region’s most innovative companies are struggling to hire a sufficient number of skilled professionals to support their growth. The workforce shortage has been especially pronounced in Washington State’s life science industry. Bannecker Public Affairs has worked side-by-side with the statewide trade association, Life Science Washington, to create greater connectivity between companies, STEM advocates, institutes of higher education, and students. We’ve designed unique educational partnerships and programs including Project BioPath - the first paid high school internship in biomanufacturing in Washington State. Additionally, we have worked with community and technical colleges to create new industry-endorsed certificate programs to address entry-level worker shortages. These new programs offer future graduates a guided pathway into an innovative global sector, offering upward mobility and family-wage jobs.
Seattle is the 11th largest metropolitan economy in the nation. Many of the world’s leading companies are new arrivals to the Emerald City looking to grow their brand. In other cases, out-of-state companies seeking new business need in-market public affairs support. Either way, our team supports in-house public affairs and government relations teams, delivering strong local knowledge to maximize opportunities and minimize, if not avoid obstacles. We help engage in the vital community issues that align with a company’s vision; we build lasting connections and sustainable public outreach programs.
